About the position

The Principal Analog Circuit Design Engineer will play a crucial role in the design and development of advanced electronics for aircraft applications, including flight control systems and engine control computers. This position involves collaboration across multiple disciplines and offers the opportunity to mentor junior engineers while contributing to innovative avionics solutions for both commercial and military customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop state-of-the-art electronics for advanced aircraft applications.
• Conduct research, design, development, and testing of information processing hardware.
• Mentor junior engineers and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Design new or modify existing products and develop technical specifications for production.
• Analyze hardware configuration and processing solutions, and test hardware conformance to specifications.

Requirements

• BSEE with 8 or more years of analog design experience including board level design experience.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineers.
• Experience in Analog Electronics Design.
• Experience with design analysis tools such as PSpice and MathCad.
• Experience performing analog circuit stress and tolerance analysis.
• PWB design support experience.

Nice-to-haves

• MSEE with 10 years of analog design experience.
• Experience in designing for EMI and Lightning Protection.
• Experience with military and/or avionics work.
• Some experience with RF Circuit Design.
