About the position

The Principal Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer will be responsible for designing high-performance RF/Analog Receiver/TIA circuits. This role requires extensive experience in IC design, including chip tape-out and lab evaluation, as well as a strong understanding of analog custom layout and performance measurement. The engineer will work collaboratively within a team, mentoring junior designers and leading projects from conception to mass production.

Responsibilities

  • Design high-performance RF/Analog Receiver/TIA circuits.
  • Oversee and mentor junior circuit designers.
  • Translate chip level specifications into architecture.
  • Lead projects from chip design to mass production.
  • Measure IC performance and debug designs to correlate simulations with measurements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 10-15 years of experience in RF/Analog design, or MSc/PhD with 5+ years of experience.
  • Proven experience in IC design including chip tape-out and lab evaluation.
  • Solid experience using EDA CAD tools.
  • Experience in performing analog custom layout.
  • Deep understanding of detailed transistor level design and device physics.
  • Experience in control/feedback loop stability analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Direct project experience in Aloop design.
  • Experience with high precision analog circuits including linear regulators, current sensors, bandgaps, and DAC/ADC.
  • Experience in CTLE design.
  • Familiarity with package-system integration issues.
  • Experience with SiGe BiCMOS technology.
