About the position

As an Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer at Marvell, you will be part of a team responsible for designing sophisticated CMOS transceiver and SERDES products. This role involves implementing and verifying various circuits to meet performance targets, utilizing industry-standard tools for design verification. You will work on addressing technical challenges in high-speed and optical transceivers for communication infrastructure, contributing to innovative solutions that meet the demands of cloud computing and data centers.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement mixed-signal circuits including PLL, DLL, ADC, regulators, amplifiers, TX, RX, and CDRs.
  • Perform design verification using tools such as Spectre and MATLAB.
  • Evaluate prototype units against design specifications through lab testing.
  • Identify and develop best practices for high-quality and effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in designing mixed-signal circuits including ADCs, DACs, RX, TX, PLLs, Filters, and regulators.
  • Strong knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.
  • Experience with low power and high-speed design techniques.
  • Proficiency in IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Spice, MATLAB, Hsim, and Verilog.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Completed a BS/MS/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of related professional experience.

  • Specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in analog circuit design.
  • Ability to apply innovative solutions to complex issues.
