About the position

The Principal Angular 16 Developer (Testing) role at Kforce involves collaborating with product management to translate requirements into actionable stories, developing scalable cloud-based systems, and providing exceptional support. The position also includes mentoring junior engineers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Work with product management on requirements, decompose epics into stories, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations
• Build scalable, resilient, cloud-based systems aligned with our long-term strategy
• Provide outstanding support, including on-call support when necessary
• Mentor junior software engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 6 years of experience
• A solid and strong foundation in software engineering
• Current hands-on experience with Angular 16+ framework and SPA
• Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, etc.
• Familiarity with building sharable web components and documenting using Storybook
• Comfortable integrating with microservices and orchestration
• Understanding of AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as ECS and Docker
• Experience building and deploying cloud enabled applications using 12 factor design
• Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins
• Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks
• Work well in both a small agile team and independently, having a strong user focus
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time
• Familiarity with Micro Frontend is a plus
