About the position

Fidelity TalentSource is seeking a Principal Angular Developer with expertise in Angular 16 and testing experience to join the FFIO Technology team in Westlake, TX. This role involves hands-on development and providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members as part of a multiyear initiative to modernize pricing capabilities in the cloud. The ideal candidate will focus on user experience, define UX standards, and contribute to building a common component library.

Responsibilities

• Deliver next generation pricing platforms in the cloud.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for junior team members.
• Define UX standards and build out a common component library for FFIO.
• Work with product management on requirements and decompose epics into stories.
• Build scalable, resilient, cloud-based systems aligned with long-term strategy.
• Provide outstanding support, including on-call support when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 6 years of experience in software engineering.
• Current hands-on experience with Angular 16+ framework and SPA.
• Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, etc.
• Familiarity with building sharable web components and documenting using Storybook.
• Understanding of AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as ECS and Docker.
• Experience building and deploying cloud-enabled applications using 12 factor design.
• Experience with continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

• Familiarity with Micro Frontend architecture.
