About the position

The position at Cadence involves engaging with customers and prospects to identify and qualify business opportunities related to analog and mixed-signal methodologies using Cadence tools, particularly Virtuoso. The role requires a strong understanding of customer challenges and analytical skills to resolve issues affecting production schedules. It emphasizes collaboration with R&D and Product Engineering teams to implement new features and address bugs, necessitating excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers and prospects to identify and qualify business opportunities.
• Develop agreeable and achievable evaluation criteria for opportunities.
• Run evaluations and convert opportunities into business deployments.
• Resolve issues impacting production schedules through analytical skills.
• Collaborate closely with R&D and Product Engineering teams for feature implementation and bug fixes.
• Engage extensively with customers for issue resolution and to identify opportunities for Cadence technologies.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of IC design process/methodology in analog and mixed-signal design.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of complete analog back-end flow from design entry to advanced automation flows.
• Experience with advanced process nodes and physical verification.
• Proficiency in tools like Virtuoso Schematic, Virtuoso layout, and Pegasus.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Electronics and Communication/VLSI Engineering with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
