About the position

The Principal Architect at Presidio plays a crucial role in driving the adoption of Cloud services and solutions for top-tier customers. This position involves collaborating with sales teams and various internal stakeholders to create effective enterprise architectures that address customer business challenges. The Principal Architect is expected to be a thought leader, conducting assessments and strategy workshops, and translating client goals into actionable technology solutions. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, with a focus on establishing trusted relationships with customer stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of Digital & Cloud-Native Strategies.
• Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on Cloud platforms as a key member of the sales cycle.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of Cloud and participate in strategy discussions for successful deployment.
• Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or operating in Cloud.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals and key stakeholders within customer organizations to enable them to be cloud advocates.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.

Requirements

• Background in application development & data solutions.
• Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
• Experience architecting/operating Cloud solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience in presales and working with large and complex customer environments.
• Strong presentation skills with comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
• Demonstrated thought leadership through publications and public speaking.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at various levels.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Familiarity with common enterprise services, products, and frameworks.
