About the position

GlobalLogic is hiring a senior principal architect or chief architect. Our client is one of the leading American transportation services companies. The company operates in the automotive retail, truck leasing, transportation, logistics, and motorsports industries. This project's goal is to modernize their Rental applications using a microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the architectural direction of microservices-based applications.
• Work closely with engineering teams to design, develop, and implement scalable, reliable, and secure microservices architectures.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software development, architecture, and design of Java Based Applications.
• 5+ years of experience in architecting Microservices-based solutions.
• 3+ Years of experience in architecting Micro Front Ends using Angular and other UI Frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.

• Experience with MongoDB Schema design and adopting MongoDB Patterns.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
• Experience with API design and management.
