About the position

The Principal Associate, Technical Recruiter at Capital One plays a crucial role in the Talent Acquisition team, focusing on attracting, engaging, and retaining top talent. This position involves managing the full lifecycle of recruiting, providing consulting and guidance to hiring teams, and enhancing the overall recruiting experience. The recruiter will utilize innovative techniques and data-driven insights to source and manage candidates effectively, ensuring a best-in-class experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand unique talent needs.
  • Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process and hiring deliverables, including creating position descriptions and sourcing diverse candidate pipelines.
  • Market Capital One's talent brand to attract top talent and screen candidates effectively.
  • Develop and execute sourcing plans to identify and recruit top talent, owning the candidate development process from identification to offer extension.
  • Work cross-functionally with a team of recruiters to promote a culture of inspiration, empowerment, and inclusion.
  • Leverage recruiting data to provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners.
  • Source candidates using innovative techniques beyond direct applications.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical recruiting, human resources, or client consulting, or a combination of these experiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification.
  • 4+ years of experience in Corporate Recruiting, including full life cycle, research, and sourcing.
  • 2+ years of experience consulting with multiple hiring managers while developing strong working relationships.
  • Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in compensation and general HR requirements related to hiring.
