About the position

The Principal Business Intelligence Developer at BAE Systems plays a crucial role in supporting the Data Analytics team within the Air and Space Force Solutions unit. This position focuses on the selection, implementation, and support of Business Intelligence applications, ensuring efficient operation and performance of these systems. The role emphasizes continual improvement and innovation in strategic deterrence efforts, contributing to the company's mission of protecting the country through advanced technological solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and provide recommendations for the selection, implementation, and support for Business Intelligence Applications.
• Provide primary support for Business Intelligence Applications such as Tableau, Power BI, and Plotley Dash.
• Set up administrator and service accounts, maintain system documentation, tune system performance, and install software on servers and workstations.
• Conduct capacity and performance analysis and provide system configuration change and upgrade recommendations.
• Use automated tools and scripts to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Work with internal and external organizations to support various customer user level requirements, including resolving elevated end user support requests.
• Research and deploy advanced technologies to enhance business processes.
• Implement approved system security policies, including configuration of user access and permissions across various systems.
• Monitor application status, support application event triage, and work with vendors for event resolution.
• Provide technical assistance, training, and system documentation for users.

Requirements

• Valid Secret Clearance license.
• IAT Level II certification.
• Experience in Unit testing.
• Master's degree.
