The Principal Business Operations Manager - Cloud Supply Chain at Microsoft plays a crucial role in supporting the business operations of the Cloud Supply Chain organization. This position is responsible for building an effective supply chain transformation operating model, managing budgets and contracts, and facilitating executive communications. Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of large, cross-functional projects.
• Ensure timely delivery of technology solutions by managing project schedules, resources, contracts, and risks.
• Provide high-level support to executive leaders, including managing the rhythm of business, preparing reports, and coordinating meetings.
• Drive strategic initiatives by identifying opportunities for improvement and tracking progress.
• Collaborate with various departments to align business goals and objectives.
• Design upcoming budgets based on strategic understanding.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize data-driven insights to assess performance and organizational health.
• Monitor key metrics and report on progress to executive leaders.
• Continuously improve team processes by identifying inefficiencies and implementing best practices.
• Monitor organizational health and respond to team culture issues.
• Promote cultural initiatives and ensure compliance with sensitive employee data management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years experience in Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or Programming OR Master's Degree in the same fields AND 8+ years experience OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years people management experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience in Program Management, Supply Chain Operations, Project Management, or similar experience.
• 2+ years of experience implementing proactive systems to simplify activities and deliverables.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years experience in Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or Programming OR Master's Degree in the same fields AND 10+ years experience.
• Certification in Application Development Platforms (Power Platform, DevOps, Dynamics 365).
• 5+ years working in a professional corporate environment with executive level presentation skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical program management or a related field.
• Experience in a Chief of Staff role or supporting executive leaders.
