The position serves as a crucial liaison between business constituents, internal IT teams, and global companies, ensuring that strategic architectural, product development, and business initiatives are aligned effectively. The role involves translating complex business concepts and requirements into actionable software solutions and roadmaps, which are essential for the successful execution of projects. The individual will define strategic, system, and functional requirements across a variety of technologies and highly complex business processes, ensuring that all stakeholders are on the same page and that the solutions developed meet the needs of the business. In this role, the individual will utilize an extensive external network to attract talent and develop mid to long-term strategies to address and solve extremely complex issues that may arise. Collaboration is key, as the position requires working closely with software engineers, business analysts, and non-technical analysts to ensure that defined requirements are accurately translated into developed solutions. The individual will oversee and drive technical and functional application support with third-party vendors, ensuring that all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) are managed effectively across multiple functional or technical areas. Additionally, the position entails responsibility for training employees or coordinating training in areas of expertise related to applications, databases, security, operating systems, or other technical aspects. The individual will provide support and troubleshooting for highly complex technology solutions, determining strategies, methods, and procedures for new assignments. Mentoring and coordinating the activities of other personnel across departments and global companies will also be a significant part of the role. It is essential that all work is planned, documented, and completed in compliance with established best practices, security requirements, compliance regulations, and internal controls.
