About the position
As a Principal Business Systems Analyst at MKS, you will partner with the Information Technology group to Analyze, Design, Plan, Configure, Develop, Test, and Deploy Oracle Planning & Operations modules. In this role, you will report to the Sr. IT Manager, Oracle EBS.
Responsibilities
- Provide Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations functional leadership leveraging business process, Oracle configuration and optimal usage expertise.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations and IT in the global design, development, and deployment and expansion of the organization's Oracle R12 eBusiness Suite of applications.
- Support the Supply Chain and Operations end-user community by providing research, analysis and problem resolution to team members.
- Actively demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement focused on end user productivity, and enterprise process integration.
- Work with various business groups in the organization to facilitate cross-functional implementation of new or improved business process requirements for all IT-related business, financial, and operations systems critical to core organizational functions.
- Effectively manage the IT change control process, gathering the end-user requirements, preparing functional specifications and communicating IT priorities and delivery status to the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or other 4-year degree focusing on Information Technology
- 7+ years in a discrete manufacturing industry setting and information technology experience
- Experience working in Oracle R12 eBusiness Suite Purchasing, Inventory, Advanced Supply Chain Planning, BOM, Routing and WIP modules
- Full knowledge of Systems Life Cycle development methodologies
- Be dissatisfied with status quo with a thirst to introduce change
- Energetic team player with a can-do attitude
