The Principal Business Systems Analyst - Home Production and Quality Applications will play a crucial role in the discovery, design, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement of standardized policies, processes, and software systems across the company. This position requires collaboration with Information Services team members and the user community to support defined objectives aimed at innovating, delivering, and supporting the K. Hovnanian Integrated Software System (KHISS). This integrated suite of enterprise-wide, standard business processes and systems is designed to increase sales, improve profit, and enhance customer satisfaction. The Principal Business Systems Analyst will manage all IS aspects of one or multiple small to large projects, which includes baseline support, administrative and maintenance duties, and leading various local, regional, and national projects. The role is characterized by an increased number of assigned tasks with greater complexity and business impact. Specific responsibilities include providing connections between technology partners to improve and streamline systems and processes, negotiating complex business requirements, overseeing the preparation of presentations for internal customers and strategic stakeholders, and obtaining and assembling data for technical requirements and user acceptance testing. Additionally, the Analyst will participate in providing technical support to all divisions, consult with internal management to determine functional and technical requirements, analyze internal data regarding system utilization, and maintain current knowledge of industry trends related to Construction Scheduling and Homeowner Service Software solutions. The role also involves conducting periodic on-site observations, working with business partners to ensure consistency across technologies, defining and maintaining job roles, and following established company safety procedures.
