About the position

Capital One's Enterprise Data Product organization is seeking a dynamic and versatile professional to join our team as a junior Chief of Staff. This role is tailored for a high-potential individual eager to immerse themselves in the heart of our operations, learn rapidly, and contribute to strategic associate engagement initiatives across Enterprise Data. In this role, you will act as a catalyst for change and innovation, working directly under the guidance of more senior Chief of Staff and other top executives. You will help shape our culture and drive forward initiatives that enhance associate engagement, streamline operations, and improve our overall workplace environment. As a Chief of Staff, you will innovate and inspire engagement by working closely with the senior Chief of Staff and other leaders to design high-impact engagement events and activities that resonate across the organization. You will own associate experience initiatives, quickly assuming responsibility for a range of projects including new hire welcome and onboarding programs, associate recognition programs, associate survey response plans, and campus hire engagement. This role will challenge you to stretch your capabilities and apply knowledge in new ways every day. You will cultivate strategic partnerships by fostering relationships across the organization and with our horizontal partners to enhance collaboration and ensure the success of engagement and culture-focused activities. Additionally, you will drive creative, impactful solutions by identifying and addressing key associate engagement challenges within the organization, using your insight and creativity to develop practical solutions that improve how we work. Finally, you will analyze, advise, and influence by conducting thorough analyses of ongoing initiatives, drawing insights from data, and making recommendations that will inform strategic decisions by leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the senior Chief of Staff and other leaders to design high-impact engagement events and activities.
  • Assume responsibility for new hire welcome and onboarding programs, associate recognition programs, and associate survey response plans.
  • Foster relationships across the organization and with horizontal partners to enhance collaboration.
  • Identify and address key associate engagement challenges within the organization.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of ongoing initiatives and make recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in Process Management, Project Management or equivalent
  • Strong foundational skills in problem-solving, process and/or project management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to extract insights from data.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
