Responsibilities

• Lead projects with a focus on quality, sustainability, and safety.
• Craft briefs and define scopes of work for various projects.
• Contribute to bid proposals and project management activities.
• Ensure projects meet timelines and budget requirements.
• Foster development and mentoring within the team.
• Prepare, review, and approve civil designs.
• Inspect and diagnose existing structures for potential reuse or adaptation.
• Contribute to resource planning and fee estimation.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is essential.
• Chartered Engineer, member of IStructE or ICE.
• Extensive experience in RC design and detailing, including water retaining and soil retaining structures.
• Experience in steelwork design and geotechnics.
• Ability to prepare, review, and approve civil designs.
• Knowledge of computational analysis techniques and software; knowledge of BIM is an advantage.
• Track record of commitment to sustainability in design and construction.
• Understanding of cost and contract management is an advantage.
