About the position

As a Principal Cloud Data Architect at Kellanova, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining cloud platforms for data and analytics technologies across the organization. This position requires strategic thinking to align technology initiatives with business objectives, ensuring the evolution and adaptation of our data and analytics cloud technology footprint. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, performance, and security of our data and analytics platform, adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create a comprehensive cloud platform strategy and roadmap that aligns with business goals.
• Design and implement cloud architecture and components for data and analytics capabilities.
• Define and implement data security measures, including access controls and encryption.
• Design architecture and integration patterns for efficient and secure data flows.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and integrating data, analytics, and cloud technology components.
• Strong knowledge of cloud data platform technologies, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics.
• Proficiency in data warehouse design and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.

• Familiarity with data governance and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
