About the position

The Cloud Solutions Architect (CSA) role at Oracle is designed for individuals who excel in creating secure and scalable cloud solutions. This position involves designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for various clients, acting as a liaison between business needs and technical execution. The CSA will ensure that the solutions are high-performing, secure, and aligned with client objectives while providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive, end-to-end solutions on OCI that align with client requirements, prioritizing scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives, technical needs, and constraints, providing expert guidance on OCI's capabilities and best practices.
• Lead the technical design and implementation of OCI solutions, mentoring technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assess existing on-premises or cloud-based infrastructure and applications, developing migration strategies and executing plans to transition them to OCI.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of OCI resources.
• Ensure OCI solutions meet industry-standard security and compliance requirements, implementing robust security controls, encryption, and access management measures.
• Continuously identify opportunities to optimize OCI solutions for performance, cost, and resource utilization, leveraging native OCI services and features.
• Implement effective monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions on OCI to proactively identify and address performance issues and security threats.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cloud architect or a similar role (5+ years).
• Strong understanding of cloud design principles, including security, scalability, and performance.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and capabilities is a plus.
