About the position

The Principal Cloud Technical Program Manager at Oracle is responsible for managing deal validations and ensuring compliance with strategic business objectives. This role involves working closely with sales teams and engineering to communicate customer obligations and translate business requirements into technical specifications. The position requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to drive programs to completion in a complex, global environment.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating to the in-country sales teams the data center and deal qualification requirements.
  • Receiving feedback from customers and/or sales teams to determine compliance with standards and seeking noncompliance approvals from delivery teams where needed.
  • Delivering a deal validation report to the executive team, highlighting any risks or exceptions needed and running appropriate meetings to coordinate and resolve exceptions.
  • Working closely with engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical requirements to help shape the product.
  • Driving alignment on product features, business metrics, and business strategies.
  • Assisting in the development of short-, medium-, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives for exponential customer and partner adoption.
  • Being the voice of customers and partners with Oracle's various cloud engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) at all levels across an organization.
  • Experience with cloud services and Data Center networking.
  • Understanding of cloud competitive landscape, customer priorities and challenges.
  • Experience using agile software development practices and associated tooling such as Jira.
  • Ability to think broadly and strategically.
  • Maturity, judgment, negotiation, influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills.
  • Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment.
  • Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly.
  • Ability to create detailed engagement plans to keep up with the high velocity of features being delivered on the platform.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive programs and projects to completion.
