About the position
The Principal Consultant, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer at Genpact is responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions that empower marketing teams to utilize the Marketing Cloud automation platform effectively. This role involves coding, testing, and supporting the email and channel marketing team in building custom queries, email templates, and comprehensive customer journeys. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and project management skills, along with the ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions for the Marketing Cloud automation platform.
- Support the email and channel marketing team with building custom queries and email templates.
- Develop amp script-based dynamic templates and automation jobs.
- Build out comprehensive customer 1:1 journeys.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or MCA.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Lightning Platform.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience as a marketing cloud administrator and/or developer.
- Experience in Marketing Cloud Connector setup.
- Experience in Marketing Cloud Integration with Salesforce and other applications.
- Experience in Automation Studio, Email Studio, Journey Builder.
- Familiarity with building email templates using Content Builder.
- Experience with AMPScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, JSON, XML, MQ, HTTP, REST, JavaScript.
- Certified in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer and/or Marketing Cloud Consultant.
