About the position
The Principal Content Designer for the Banking team at Cash App will focus on creating exceptional customer experiences by rethinking established paradigms in financial services. This role is pivotal in making Cash App the primary bank of choice for customers, emphasizing relatable, instantly available, and universally accessible banking services. The designer will partner closely with various teams to enhance the end-to-end design process, ensuring that content design significantly improves user goals and overall experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with design to create and evolve the end-to-end design process.
- Concept, design, and write content across all stages of the customer journey.
- Audit existing experiences and identify ways content design can improve user goals.
- Use consumer insights and metrics to inform design decisions and influence the product roadmap.
- Employ systems thinking to connect the dots across the entire customer journey.
- Create guidelines that ensure consistency and empower stakeholders.
- Reference insights and metrics to drive decisions, balancing intuition and calculated risks.
Requirements
- 8+ years experience in content strategy, UX writing, or content design.
- Extensive experience working on zero to one projects and iterating on established core experiences.
- Strong UX capabilities and writing competency, including information architecture and content management.
- A passion for simplifying complex problems into engaging solutions.
- Refined craft and storytelling skills, with the ability to align teams around a shared vision.
- Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to communicate decisions effectively.
- Comfort with an iterative design process that includes soliciting and acting on feedback.
