About the position

The Principal Content Designer will join the OS Messaging team at Cash App, focusing on enhancing the customer experience through effective messaging and content design. This role involves evolving the Cash App voice, crafting messaging guidelines, and ensuring a seamless conversation with customers across various touchpoints. The designer will work collaboratively with marketing and product teams to align messaging with strategic goals, while also pushing the boundaries of verbal identity to create a resonant product experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a seamless conversation with the customer across all customer experience touchpoints.
  • Think in multiple time horizons, pursuing creative ideas while executing quick-turn iterative changes to content.
  • Partner with Marketing and other Product teams to align the messaging system with their goals and platform-specific nuances.
  • Concept, design, and write content across all stages of the customer journey, pressure testing messaging and voice.
  • Use insights and metrics to drive decisions, balancing intuition with calculated risks.

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in content strategy, UX writing, or content design.
  • Extensive experience working on zero to one projects and iterating on established core experiences.
  • Strong UX capabilities and writing competency, including information architecture and content management.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to align teams and stakeholders.
