About the position

Fidelity Labs is seeking a Principal Content Designer to collaborate with two fintech teams, focusing on delivering product and marketing content. The role emphasizes translating complex financial concepts into clear and engaging writing, while fostering a compassionate and thoughtful approach to content creation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product and marketing content for fintech teams.
• Translate sophisticated financial concepts into understandable writing.
• Collaborate with researchers, designers, and product managers to understand customer needs.
• Create and document new processes for content design.
• Inspire and facilitate idea generation to improve existing designs and create new experiences.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in content design, UX design, content strategy, or copywriting.
• BA/BS degree in English, creative writing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Expert writing skills aligned with brand and style guidelines.
• Ability to self-motivate, stay organized, and manage time effectively.
• Good listening skills and ability to communicate design rationale to non-design partners.
