About the position

The Principal Cybersecurity Analyst - JEMINI Security Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the security and functionality of the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program, which integrates the Missile Defense System. This role involves designing, engineering, testing, certifying, and delivering secure communications systems for the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). The position requires strong knowledge of information assurance technology and DoD cybersecurity certification requirements, along with excellent communication skills to present technical issues to senior officials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and utilize a program-level Cyber Test Plan for testing patches, CTOs, and STIG settings.
• Create a test artifact template for functional tests and outcomes.
• Develop and utilize a Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) for Windows and RHEL operating systems.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, system administration, and Test personnel on patch installations and vulnerability rectification.
• Develop a tracking mechanism and Plan of Action and Milestones for patch application delays.
• Utilize automated security configuration tools to scan and test STIG configurations.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-related field, or 9 years of experience without a degree, or 3 years with a Master's degree.
• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8140 certification at IAM - Level II or higher (e.g., Security+, CISSP).
• Working knowledge of eMASS, JOINT SPECIAL ACCESS PROGRAM (SAP) IMPLEMENTATION GUIDE (JSIG), and Common Criteria.
• Experience in security engineering and cybersecurity technology.
