About the position

The Principal Cybersecurity Perimeter Architect / Engineer is a key role focused on designing, deploying, and overseeing network security architectures to safeguard critical infrastructure from cyber threats. This position requires a hands-on approach to enhance the security posture of the enterprise network while ensuring high availability and performance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in perimeter and internal segmentation firewall configuration, particularly in Operational Technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop standards, procedures, and guidelines for building defensible network security architecture.
• Plan and implement security measures to protect sensitive data and systems from cyber-attacks.
• Design and deploy network technology to detect intrusions and anomalous system behavior.
• Evaluate new cybersecurity threats and IT trends and develop effective security measures.
• Review firewall and Switch ACL configuration change requests, including rule sets, policies, and VPNs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in perimeter and internal segmentation firewall configuration.
• Strong background in Operational Technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) environments.
• Expertise in designing and implementing network security solutions.
• Ability to evaluate cybersecurity threats and develop effective security measures.
• Experience with firewall and Switch ACL configuration.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
• Experience with cloud security solutions.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
