About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Principal Data Analytics Engineer, Vulnerability Management. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to our mission of safeguarding critical data and infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and developing an in-house Big Data Vulnerability Management System that leverages cloud technologies. This is a hands-on position that requires technical proficiency and a passion for creating robust, scalable, and secure systems. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop the solution, utilizing cloud platforms to create scalable, efficient, and secure solutions. You will develop RESTful APIs to allow secure data integrations, write clean Python/PySpark code, and actively participate in code reviews. Implementing best practices for security, scalability, and performance will be essential, as well as integrating data sources and developing automated pipelines. You will work within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to deliver high-quality solutions and drive the adoption of DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop the solution.
  • Utilize cloud platforms to create scalable, efficient, and secure solutions.
  • Develop RESTful APIs to allow secure data integrations.
  • Write clean Python/PySpark code and actively participate in code reviews.
  • Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
  • Integrate data sources and develop automated pipelines.
  • Work within the SDLC to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Drive adoption of DevSecOps practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience in Software Development and/or Data Analytics
  • 5+ years of experience in developing complex, cloud-based solutions (preferably in GCP or Azure)
  • 5+ years of experience with hands-on Python Development

Nice-to-haves

  • Multiple years experience in Vulnerability Management and Assessment
  • Ability to create and execute a vision, motivating others to adopt strategies in collectively moving the organization forward
  • Working knowledge of risk data analysis, dashboards and visualization, and executive risk reporting
  • Solid presentation skills, with the ability to prepare briefings and present technical information to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Understanding of Secure Coding Techniques and DevSecOps Principles
  • Experience designing and implementing secure RESTful APIs
  • Experience with DataBricks, Delta Lake and Delta Live Tables
  • Experience with Serverless Functions
  • Experience with Git
