About the position

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Data Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's data strategy and infrastructure. The Data Architect will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of robust, scalable, and secure data architectures that support our business objectives and enable data-driven decision-making. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders across the organization to define and articulate data strategy and objectives aligned with business goals. The Data Architect will facilitate data governance and stewardship discussions, ensuring alignment on data policies, standards, and best practices. In addition, the Data Architect will establish data governance frameworks, data quality controls, and monitoring mechanisms to maintain data integrity and consistency. Conducting enterprise-wide data discovery and profiling will be essential to understand existing data sources, structures, and dependencies. The architect will design and develop centralized data models, schemas, and data warehouse architectures that support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting requirements. Furthermore, the role involves architecting secure and efficient data integration pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading data from various sources, including Page0, entitlement models, and propensity models. The Data Architect will ensure data lineage and traceability across the organization's data ecosystem and implement data security measures, access controls, and authentication mechanisms to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance. Developing and implementing data retention, archiving, disaster recovery, and business continuity policies and plans will also be part of the responsibilities. Continuous monitoring of data quality, identifying performance bottlenecks, and optimizing data flows for efficient and reliable data delivery are crucial tasks. The architect will collaborate with business units and stakeholders to understand their data requirements, use cases, and analytical needs, defining requirements and specifications for data sources, models, and integrations related to various initiatives. This position requires designing and architecting end-to-end data solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical constraints. The Data Architect will work closely with data engineers, business intelligence engineers, and other data professionals to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment across the data ecosystem. Providing guidance, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to cross-functional teams on data architecture best practices and emerging technologies is also expected. Ultimately, the Data Architect will promote the adoption of data-driven decision-making and foster a data-centric culture within the organization.
