About The Position

The Principal Data Management Analyst at Northrop Grumman is responsible for maintaining and analyzing the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), which supports U.S. military operations by processing and exchanging combat information. This role involves system maintenance, fault detection, and providing training to military operators, while also requiring travel to various sites as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 9 years of professional and/or military leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of professional and/or military leadership experience
• Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of professional and/or military leadership experience
• Operational proficiency in MS Office Suite (Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, One Note)
• Certified on AFATDS
• Minimum 3 years operational experience using Army Mission Command Systems
• Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance
• Willingness to travel up to 50% per calendar year
• Comfortable interacting with all military ranks
• Experience in fault detection, analysis, isolation, and correction of hardware systems

Responsibilities

• Perform routine system maintenance and computer system administrative functions
• Conduct analysis of system operations
• Detect, isolate, and correct faults in computer systems and peripheral devices
• Generate customer-related reports from multiple sources
• Provide over-the-shoulder training to military operators
• Be available for temporary assignments to various CONUS/OCONUS sites for extended periods of time
