About the position

The Principal, Data Strategy is responsible for leading data-driven transformations for clients globally. This role focuses on defining data strategies, measurement frameworks, and technology adoption to enhance client outcomes through data-driven marketing solutions. The Principal will collaborate with various teams to ensure the agency remains an industry leader in digital execution and value realization through innovative data strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the definition of the Digital, Data and Technology learning agendas.
  • Ensure the data strategy and measurement frameworks align, securing client approval and driving adoption.
  • Work with planners, clients, strategy directors, and digital directors to define an audience framework and data strategy for each brand.
  • Grow the use of DMP and CDP in data-driven use cases and application in campaigns.
  • Support the development of technology-based platforms and applications as a data strategist.
  • Define and support the implementation, measurement, and activation of data-driven use cases.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in data technology and strategy, ensuring the technology ecosystem fits together.
  • Provide guidance on how data can inform annual planning insights.
  • Lead the development of education programs for Data for internal and client audiences.
  • Communicate data strategy needs as inputs into the media partnership strategy.
  • Lead a testing program to continuously try new vendors and partners.
  • Execute data-driven marketing program approaches across agencies.
  • Provide strategic direction on data-driven thought leadership for media partners.
  • Embed new data-driven approaches into the Human Experience Planning framework.
  • Drive new business pitches and prototyping work.
