About the position

As a Principal Data Warehouse Developer with a focus on data integration, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of data integration solutions. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless data flow across various systems, enabling robust data analytics and business intelligence capabilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, architect integration solutions, and ensure data quality and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Leads technical design, development, testing, deployments and support of data warehouse products focusing on industry best practices and technology standards.
• Produces and extends data warehouse development patterns and deployment frameworks emphasizing quality, compliance, and efficiency through automation.
• Works closely with business and IT stakeholders to optimize information by defining business requirements and populating the data warehouse table structure.
• Produces and enforces standards, processes, and procedures for data warehousing products.
• Defines and implements mechanisms to monitor and ensures data accuracy and accessibility.
• Seeks continuous data warehouse performance improvement and ensures security of data.
• Creates and implements effective metrics and monitoring processes.
• Leads projects and develops detailed work plans.
• Coaches and mentors' colleagues with less experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent education/ experience
• 10+ Years Data Warehouse or relevant experience
• 10+ Years data integration, data transformation, database, and scheduling experience
• Proficiency in devops and dataops practices and technologies
• Proficiency in a variety of data modelling disciplines and knowledge of when to apply them
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and programming languages
• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and projects
• Advanced ability to lead and resolve complex problems, working across broad groups and geographies
• Advanced interpersonal skills, including the ability to build consensus
• Advanced communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex or difficult information
