About the position

The Database Architect role involves business system analysis, data analysis, and requirement gathering to provide solutions for customer problems and system issues. The position focuses on technical and functional process improvements, leading development and support teams, and assisting the Product Owner in developing the product backlog. The role requires expertise in PL/SQL software development, ETL software development using Pentaho, and Unix shell scripting, while also supporting agile development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Database Architect.
  • Business System analysis, Data analysis, requirement gathering, solutioning for customer problems / system issues, technical and functional process improvements.
  • Reasoning the design with proof of concepts to IT managers.
  • Leading the development & support team.
  • Assist Product Owner to develop the Product backlog.
  • PL/SQL Software development.
  • Pentaho - Kettle/Spoon (ETL) software development.
  • Unix Shell scripting.
  • Assist the agile development team throughout the life cycle of the project.
  • Reviewing the deliverables. Responsible for the deliverables from Offshore to Onsite to Client.
  • End user training.
  • SME[Subject Matter Expert] for the new system.
  • Coordinating with Onsite, Offshore team members and other vendors.
  • Manage SF Agency Business run the back initiatives w.r.t Loan - Collateral data management and reporting.

Requirements

  • Experience in business system analysis and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL software development.
  • Experience with Pentaho - Kettle/Spoon (ETL) software development.
  • Knowledge of Unix Shell scripting.
  • Experience in leading development and support teams.
  • Ability to assist in agile development processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with proof of concepts for IT managers.
  • Familiarity with loan and collateral data management.
