About the position

As a Principal Developer at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, you will lead the charge in platform automation and transformation, focusing on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and UI Path technologies. Your role will involve designing, developing, and enhancing automated solutions that streamline business processes and optimize operational efficiency. You will be responsible for translating technical specifications into impactful applications, integrating various platforms, and automating workflows to reduce manual tasks, thereby driving the organization's digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Large-Scale Application Development projects, ensuring successful delivery of automated solutions.
• Oversee third-party development teams, coordinating with external partners for cohesive platform automation initiatives.
• Champion best practices in code development and drive innovation in automation and platform development.
• Facilitate training programs for the IT team on the latest automation technologies, including RPA and UI Path.
• Mentor junior developers, nurturing their growth in platform automation and application development.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and develop comprehensive work scopes for solutions.
• Spearhead the design, development, and integration of platform automation solutions using RPA and UI Path.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and education.
• Five (5)+ years in application development or comparable experience.
• Experience directing third-party application development teams.
• Proven experience leading large-scale application development projects.
• Extensive experience across the entire project life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with APIs, ESB, SAP PI, and other integration methods.
• Participation in Agile teams and driving Behavior-Driven-Design (BDD) processes.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Java, .NET, C#, or related development technologies.
• Experience with UiPath, RPA, and Document Understanding.

Nice-to-haves
