As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will bring a diversified background and in-depth knowledge to the design and development of electronic hardware at ZOLL Medical. This role may focus on either a technical track or a project management track. You will be capable of innovative, creative, and independent strategies to produce electrical solutions to product development problems. You will generally be responsible for the overall technical design of a major new product or a significant revision to an existing product. Additionally, you may supervise personnel, schedules, and budgets for major new product development projects or significant revisions to existing products. In this position, you will supervise a project team of 1 to 15 members and work independently based on project objectives. You will interface directly with the Vice President and Directors of Research and Development, seeking supervision as needed. Your essential functions will include performing project management duties in the product development process, contributing to electrical requirements definition, independently developing complex electronic hardware, and providing significant contributions to hardware documentation. This role is critical in ensuring that ZOLL continues to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers and improve patient outcomes.
