Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Electronics Engineer (Field Support - Network Communications) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is in support of our Avionics Integration West organization. The selected candidate will undergo training in Rancho Bernardo, CA, Palmdale, CA, Jacksonville, FL or a combination of the above-mentioned locations with a final assignment location on Whidbey Island, Washington for a minimum of two years. Telework is not permitted. As a Principal Electronics Engineer (Field Support - Network Communications), you will play a critical role in the field integrating, deploying, and troubleshooting of electronic systems and solutions that keep our world safe. This includes the testing, analyzing of various electronic equipment and systems (including Line of Sight (LOS) and Beyond Line of Sight Communications (BLOS), Data Links, SATCOM, UHF Radios, and other RF communications), various networking equipment, and control and test equipment. The selected candidate must be able to apply engineering principles and techniques to provide support to the Mission Systems Integration Product Team (IPT) in the integration, test and delivery of Communications and Networking systems.
