As a member of our expert team, you'll collaborate with industry leaders, engage in the development of advanced application solutions, and make a tangible impact in the field of data storage.

Responsibilities

  • Providing global technical support for storage products.
  • Responsible for support in product introduction, promotion, POC, product design, board bring up, Pilot run, Mass Production, and product evolution.
  • Work with the design team to understand the functions, features, parameters, and limitations of the SOC.
  • Work with the firmware team to understand the functions, CLI, and debug procedure of the firmware.
  • Work with the hardware team to understand the design of the EVB and how to debug the SOC and firmware with the EVB.
  • Provide training and technical support to FAE (Field Application Engineer) in supporting customers.
  • Hold debug sessions with the customers.
  • Work with the design and firmware teams to get the issues resolved.
  • Own Jira tickets and ensure they move in a timely manner.
  • Work with validation and QA teams to reproduce customer issues in-house.
  • Provide technical test reports to Marketing.
  • Generate AppNote and UserGuide for SoC, EVB or a complete system.
  • Collaborate with various teams in publishing Errata.
  • Demonstrate Marvell's products to customers and at trade shows.
  • Collaborate with various teams in failure analysis on customer-returned units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Geographic Information Systems, Data Analytics & Information, Application Engineering, Information Sciences/Technology, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Experience must include five (5) years with each of the following: Characterization and SOC validation.
  • Debugging the SOC and firmware.
  • Supporting product introduction, promotion, product design.
  • SAS/SAT A, SCSI, PCie, NVMe, NVMeOF protocol, and related products feature.
  • Storage architecture (specifically datacenter/cloud environment).
  • PCIe analyzer equipment.
  • SR-IOV, VM, SSD, l2C, SPI, EEPROM, SPDK.
  • Performance tools usage (FIO, Iometer, Rwtest).
