As a CRP Shipping Associate on the 3rd shift at Cummins, you will play a crucial role in the logistics and operations of our warehouse. This position involves following established procedures and guidelines to efficiently receive, handle, store, and dispatch goods within a factory or warehouse environment. You will be responsible for receiving incoming goods, checking for any damage, and ensuring that there are no discrepancies between the goods received and the invoices provided. Your attention to detail will be essential as you accurately sort, label, and store goods, optimizing warehouse space for maximum efficiency. In addition to receiving goods, you will also be tasked with maintaining a clean and orderly work area. This includes performing routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning, as well as executing planned operator care and maintenance tasks. Picking, packing, and dispatching outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests will also be part of your responsibilities. Flexibility is key in this role, as you may be required to perform other miscellaneous duties to meet business goals. Compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, policies, procedures, and regulations is a critical aspect of your work, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace for all employees.
