About The Position
Seeking a Principal Engineer (I&C Design Engineer) to support our federal government client in Aiken, SC. The Contractor will perform various duties including defining the scope of technical programs, developing effective solutions to unique or controversial problems, and providing leadership in determining solutions to complex problems. The role requires applying technical experience in the field of specialization to resolve complex issues, incorporating advanced technical practices, and evaluating program results. The position also involves preparing plans, schedules, budgets, and personnel requirements for solving technical tasks, as well as communicating results and objectives to customers and management. Specific duties include providing design engineering staff augmentation support, performing engineering analysis, and generating design output documents such as P&IDs, Control Logics, and Instrument Specifications.
