About the position

The Principal Data DevOps Engineer at Toyota's Cyber Security Risk Management (CSRM) Department is a hands-on technical leader responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and managing cloud-based data and analytics solutions using AWS services. This role involves collaboration with various engineering teams to enhance Toyota's security posture through data and advanced analytics, contributing to the company's mission of securely bringing mobility for all.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in data ingestions, data pipeline development and optimization, reporting, and advanced analytics using AWS services.
• Collaborate within large teams to discuss use cases and design effective data pipelines and analytics solutions across the organization.
• Provide leadership and technology guidance in the data engineering and analytics domain, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Identify and lead initiatives to optimize data pipelines, streamline processes, and improve data quality.
• Embrace a fast-paced, innovative work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing data analytics solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, storage, reporting, and machine learning, with a strong emphasis on AWS technologies.
• Knowledge of data security concepts and best practices in the context of AWS services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• AWS Certified Developer or related certifications
• Experience in the cybersecurity domain
• Experience with SIEM solutions, such as Microsoft Sentinel.
