Toyota's Cybersecurity & Risk Management (CSRM) group is on a mission to become a global leader in cybersecurity within the mobility sector. As a Principal Engineer II - Cybersecurity DevSecOps, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and security of TMNA's manufacturing applications and systems against external threats. This position is based in Plano, TX, and offers a hybrid work model that combines in-office and remote work. You will collaborate with cybersecurity experts to develop, maintain, and refine cybersecurity policies, guidelines, and design patterns, while also engaging with technical teams to enforce these standards and address security gaps. In this role, you will lead the security engineering efforts for manufacturing applications and systems from development through implementation. Your responsibilities will include creating proactive solutions to potential problems, challenging existing practices, and designing secure hybrid/cloud manufacturing application/system solutions that adhere to TMNA's security standards. You will also provide valuable research and analysis in manufacturing cybersecurity, acting as a strategic business partner to management and collaborating with top executives to deliver strategic business results. As a trusted advisor, you will counsel management on cybersecurity issues, trends, and best practices, navigating complex situations with tact and diplomacy to build consensus and acceptance of ideas. Your expertise will be crucial in creating new methodologies and strategies that ensure the long-term competitiveness of Toyota's business processes, products, and services.
