About The Position
The Principal Engineer - Utility Scale Battery at NextEra Energy Resources is a critical role within the Engineering & Construction Division, responsible for the due diligence, vetting, and acceptance of various battery suppliers for the Energy Storage team. This position involves equipment sizing, integration design, and ensuring battery performance expectations are met, while also reviewing technical documents and OEM contracts. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and is essential for supporting the Energy Storage Engineering team in achieving the company's goals of decarbonization and renewable energy generation.
