About the position

The Principal Engineer with UI AI will play a crucial role in the Commercial Bank Generative AI project, focusing on defining solutions, creating project plans, and collaborating with delivery teams on nonfunctional requirements. This position requires extensive experience in software development and technical collaboration across multiple teams, particularly in the financial services sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead principal engineer for the Commercial Bank Generative AI project
• Define a solution, create project plans, and work with delivery teams on nonfunctional requirements
• Design and build UIs, build and integrate with MicroServices, Messaging with Kafka/Solace
• Build application systems for multiple functional business groups, implement auditable application access control, implement role-based data visibility
• Experience with document generation using open-source libraries such as Apache POI, Freemarker, etc.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development
• 5 years of experience in driving technical collaboration across multiple teams and organizations
• Experience designing, building and operating financial services applications
• Experience designing and building solutions using Python and MongoDB
• Experience with libraries such as ReactJS for UI, Python frameworks for data parsing and extraction such as pandas, pymupdf, pdfplumber, tabula, flask, pymongo, etc.
