About the position

The Principal, Enterprise Asset Management and Supply Chain at Black & Veatch is a key role within the Global Advisory organization, focusing on providing strategic and digital transformation consulting services to the power, energy, gas, and water sectors. This position involves leading business development efforts, managing client engagements, and delivering Enterprise Asset Management projects, while also enhancing existing offerings and creating new solutions to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development efforts for Enterprise Asset Management and Supply Chain solutions
• Articulate the business case for the implementation of Enterprise Asset Management and Supply Chain Programs
• Identify potential clients for BV's Enterprise Asset Management and Supply Chain solutions using personal network
• Lead and manage Enterprise Asset Management and Supply Chain transformation projects for Gas & Electric Utilities
• Manage project engagement issues and client expectations within defined scope of engagement
• Assist BV in enhancing existing offerings and collaborate with BV Teams to create new offerings
• Develop, present, and defend conclusions, recommendations, and implementation plans
• Recommend appropriate resources based on the phases of an engagement
• Delegate and manage work to assigned team members
• Transfer capabilities and skills to improve others' knowledge and skill levels
• Enhance established working relationships with team members and management from within the client's organization
• Contribute to engagement quality reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience
• 10+ years in a business/consulting environment
• Has managed significant engagements

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of the utility industry - one or more of the following domains: Electric Generation/Transmission/Distribution, Gas Transmission/Distribution, Renewables
• Knowledge of the principles of Asset Management
• Experience providing advisory services in the functional areas of Asset Management, Work Management and Supply Chain
• Knowledge of one or more EAM tools - examples include Maximo, Hexagon (Infor), KloudGin, IFS, SAP
• Ability to communicate across organizational boundaries and organizational levels
