About the position

The Principal, Enterprise Asset Management and Supply Chain at Black & Veatch will play a crucial role in leading business development and managing transformation projects within the utility infrastructure sector. This position focuses on identifying client opportunities, proposing services, and delivering Enterprise Asset Management solutions, while enhancing existing offerings and collaborating with teams to create new solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development efforts for Enterprise Asset Management and Supply Chain solutions
• Articulate the business case for the implementation of Enterprise Asset Management and Supply Chain Programs
• Use personal network to identify potential clients for BV's Enterprise Asset Management and Supply Chain solutions
• Lead and manage Enterprise Asset Management and Supply Chain transformation projects for Gas & Electric Utilities
• Manage project engagement issues
• Manage client expectations within defined scope of engagement
• Assist BV in enhancing existing offerings
• Collaborate with BV Teams to create new offerings
• Develop, present, and defend conclusions, recommendations, and implementation plans
• Recommend appropriate resources based on the phases of an engagement
• Delegate and manage work to assigned team members
• Transfer capabilities, and skills to improve others' knowledge and skill levels
• Enhance established working relationships with team members and management from within the client's organization
• Contribute to engagement quality reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience
• Has managed significant engagements
• 10+ years in a business/consulting environment

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of the utility industry - one or more of the following domains: Electric Generation/Transmission/Distribution, Gas Transmission/Distribution, Renewables
• Knowledge of the principles of Asset Management
• Experience providing advisory services in the functional areas of Asset Management, Work Management and Supply Chain
• Knowledge of one or more EAM tools - examples include Maximo, Hexagon (Infor), KloudGin, IFS, SAP
• Ability to communicate across organizational boundaries and organizational levels
