About the position

The Principal Enterprise Services IT Program Manager at Northrop Grumman will oversee technology and IT management for a multi-program portfolio at the Alleghany Ballistics Laboratory in Rocket Center, West Virginia. This role requires a full-time on-site presence and focuses on aligning information services with business requirements while providing leadership in strategy development, budget management, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will enhance team dynamics and solve unique challenges through effective cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall technology and IT management for a multi-program portfolio.
  • Serve as the link between the Office of the CIO and Senior Management of ABL.
  • Engage with information systems leadership and technical teams to optimize strategies.
  • Develop IT strategy and operational activities including service delivery and project execution.
  • Liaison between facilities and security to drive an optimal IT service environment.
  • Maximize alignment of program IT and Security services with business objectives.
  • Coordinate with division leadership to implement IT and Security solutions.
  • Act as the CIO ambassador to programs and business leadership.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction with IT service delivery and engage resources as needed.
  • Identify and coordinate solutions for technical and service delivery challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, or Master's degree and 3 years of experience, or PhD and 1 year of experience; or a High School diploma with 9 additional years of experience.
  • Must have or be able to attain an active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager with knowledge in cost, budgets, and schedules.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience using MS Office Suite tools: Word, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Experience providing strategic direction regarding IT products and technologies.
  • Familiarity with technical solutions and infrastructure implementations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering Management, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or Network Engineering.
  • Previous Enterprise Services Program Manager experience.
  • Familiarity with NGDS business and government programs.
  • Broad background in Cyber Security, IT Infrastructure, Business Applications, and IT operations.
  • Ability to perform risk and opportunity analysis and prepare detailed proposals.
  • Customer-focused with proven leadership and excellent communication skills.
