About the position

The Principal Finance Manager for Amazon Business will play a crucial role in supporting the Commercial Sector of a rapidly expanding $35 billion global business. This position involves shaping growth strategies through business insights, managing financial planning cycles, and executing P&L controllership. The successful candidate will partner with various teams to develop metrics for business results, conduct ROI analyses, and communicate financial insights to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the full financial planning cycle with the business team.
• Develop a deep understanding of business drivers and incorporate them into financial modeling.
• Partner with business to develop high velocity industry growth strategies and new metrics to target business results.
• Build and automate new reporting to track progress against business metrics.
• Conduct ROI analysis of bespoke customer deals and communicate results to US CPS and AB leadership.
• Track actual results of deal launches and engage in the development of new programs and sales motions to accelerate growth.
• Execute on cross-CPS SMEship projects and analyses with broad scope and visibility to AB senior leadership.
• Articulate financial aspects and takeaways of analyses to influence senior leaders.

Requirements

• 12+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Nice-to-haves

• MBA or CPA.
• Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting, and operational processes.
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
