About the position

The Principal Financial Analyst at Medtronic plays a crucial role in leading finance improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites. This position involves providing business partnering support to the manufacturing leadership team, focusing on financial analysis, strategy modeling, and programmatic savings. The role is designed for individuals who are ready to take on significant responsibilities in a hybrid work environment, contributing to the overall financial health and operational efficiency of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Business Partnering support to the manufacturing leadership team.
  • Communicate site results and strategy modeling.
  • Evaluate business cases and support programmatic savings.
  • Prepare finance documents for Zero Loss Events and participate in related activities.
  • Verify key projects and related expenses in collaboration with Operations.
  • Resolve inventory reconciliation issues and review COE E & O reserve analysis.
  • Attend key meetings and provide finance support for AME initiatives.
  • Support MPS and Gemba management activities.
  • Assist in campus site strategy and business case development.
  • Conduct month-end close reviews and variance analysis for COE activity.
  • Collaborate with COEs on AOP/Forecasting regarding volume, spend, labor efficiency, and other financial metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (Or Advanced Degree with 5+ years).
