About the position

The Principal Financial Systems position at Prime Therapeutics is a key role focused on enhancing financial processes and systems within the organization. This role serves as a subject matter expert in areas such as Billing, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, General Ledger, Procure to Pay, and Fixed Assets. The Principal will lead collaborative efforts across multiple finance teams to design, develop, and implement financial applications, ensuring optimal business processes and system support. This position is integral to the multi-year ERP implementation and involves advanced research, training, and ongoing system support.

Responsibilities

  • Lead team collaboration with multiple Finance teams in the design planning, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
  • Lead the functional analysis, design, and implementation of financial system enhancements and day-to-day support.
  • Leverage finance applications to support and optimize business processes.
  • Review and analyze existing financial processes to identify opportunities and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Research and determine root cause and collaborate with others to resolve complex finance and technical issues and internal customer inquiries.
  • Facilitate testing for new or improved systems or processes, including creation of a test plan, identifying test cases, and performing or leading User Acceptance and Joint Cycle Testing.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and work direction to others on the team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is required.
  • 7 years of work experience in Finance or Accounting including at least 3 years of functional experience in at least one of the specific areas for position (Billing, Accounts Receivable, Treasury) and/or (General Ledger, Procure to Pay, Fixed Assets).
  • At least 2 years of experience working in the PBM industry.
  • ERP and/or EPM Experience (such as Oracle, SAP, Workday).
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

  • Kyriba or other Treasury Management System (TMS) experience.
