About the position

The Principal, Founder's Office at CommerceIQ is a strategic partner to the CEO, responsible for enabling effective decision-making, overseeing project management, and driving the execution of strategic initiatives across the organization. This role is pivotal in translating the CEO's vision into tangible results, ensuring the achievement of annual goals, and preparing aspiring executives for future leadership roles. The Principal will influence and impact various facets of the organization, making it a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Relay information between executive team members and other staff members.
  • Provide data analysis and metrics of the company's productivity to the executive team.
  • Determine performance indicators for the company and deliver those metrics to board members.
  • Manage essential daily tasks that exceed the bandwidth of executive team members.
  • Partner closely with the CEO's Executive Assistant to design and implement a strategic framework.
  • Identify employee issues and provide workable solutions, communicating pertinent details to the executive team.
  • Assess the risk, cost, and work required for new initiatives and special projects from the CEO and/or board.
  • Manage sensitive and/or confidential information with discretion.
  • Synthesize multiple points of view and align on direction while remaining impartial.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of professional experience in consulting roles with a high level of business acumen.
  • MBA and/or operations experience is required.
  • Experience crafting successful Pricing & Packaging strategies is required.
  • Skilled in orchestrating impactful leadership and board meetings.
  • Ability to create concise decks and write-ups for complex business situations.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership experience.
  • Ability to operate at tactical, strategic, and operational levels.
  • Comfortable serving as an extension of the CEO and information funnel.
  • Proficient in assessing and prioritizing tasks and managing the CEO's schedule.
  • Accomplished in relationship management and stakeholder cultivation.
  • Ability to serve as a thought partner and strategic advisor to the CEO.
  • Analytically inclined, skilled at deriving actionable insights.
