About the position

The Principal Financial Planning Analyst (P3) position at Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) involves overseeing Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) activities for the RVS portfolio. This role is crucial for providing financial analysis, preparing forecasts, and ensuring effective communication across various organizational levels. The analyst will support the development of financial plans, manage cash processes, and assist with special projects, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and reporting for a portfolio of programs that includes all elements of cost.
• Support multiple levels of reviews, including Long Range Planning (LRP), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Short Range Outlook (SRO) reviews.
• Develop and submit monthly financial forecasts.
• Support special projects including invoicing, balance sheet cleanup, and funding analysis.
• Manage the overall cash management process including timely invoicing and managing customer receipts.
• Assist with cost plan efforts for competitive/strategic proposals.

Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience using SAP (APEX, PRISM, and/or BW/AO), RTN RPLAN or similar financial systems.
