About the position

Veson Nautical is a well-established and rapidly growing software company working to provide end-to-end logistical, operational, and analytical solutions to propel the efficiency and effectiveness of Maritime Commerce. You will be joining a highly collaborative Agile team charged with the responsibility of coding, testing, and maintaining our end-to-end maritime commerce solutions! Responsibilities

• Code, test, and maintain end-to-end maritime commerce solutions.
• Collaborate with a highly Agile team.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Identify areas of opportunity to improve system performance, scalability, and user experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Proficiency in developing complex frontend applications using modern JavaScript technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.JS.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in building distributed, microservice architectures.
• Proficiency in working with GraphQL APIs.
• Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Chai).
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in developing complex backend services using any object-oriented language.
• Experience working in a microservices cloud environment.
• Experience creating and contributing to architecture design and documentation.
